Angel Aura is the gentlest of the aura quartzes, and its meaning follows its look. It is associated with peace, serenity and a feeling of being looked after. The name comes from the soft white light it gives off, which many people describe as angelic, and it is traditionally used in meditation and prayer to connect with angels, spirit guides and higher guidance.

Because it is clear quartz underneath, it is understood to carry quartz's amplifying nature, softened by the calm, loving qualities attributed to platinum and silver. Silver is traditionally tied to the moon and intuition, and platinum to clarity and higher awareness.

Its best-known use, and the one I see most in my shop, is comfort. Angel Aura is strongly associated with releasing grief, resentment and old hurts, and with feeling supported through big transitions like a loss, a move or a new chapter. These meanings come from modern crystal practice rather than ancient tradition, and I would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Angel Aura Quartz is best known for comfort through grief, its most common use and the reason it is so often given as a sympathy gift. It is traditionally used to soften anxious, overwhelmed moments, and it is a favourite companion for prayer, meditation and working with guides. It is associated with letting go of resentment and emotional weight you have carried too long, offers gentle support through transitions and fresh starts, and amplifies intention, a quality inherited from the clear quartz underneath. Angel Aura works mainly with the crown and heart chakras, and the third eye, and its pale rainbow is also why many people use it as an all-chakra stone.
