The energy of Serpentine

Serpentine is known as a stone of renewal, and the snake association is the whole idea. It is often used when you are shedding something you have outgrown, when an old pattern is finally ready to be set down, and when you want to feel connected to the earth again. Many people also keep it close for prosperity and for the sense that something new is on its way.

Ways to use Serpentine

Hold a palm stone during meditation when you are working on letting go, keep a tumbled piece with you through a season of change, or place a carving somewhere you are building something new. Serpentine pairs beautifully with green aventurine for opportunity and with smoky quartz for grounding through the change.
